 Pricing, hosting packages and plans: The Company provides 2 shared web hosting plans. They offer dedicated hosting, shared hosting, semi dedicated hosting and VPS hosting. Their Standard shared plan is $9.95/month on a monthly billing cycle but comes down to $6.95 on 2 years billing cycle. Their Hosting PLUS Plan is $13.95 per month on a monthly billing cycle but comes down to $10.95/month on two year billing cycle.

Customer Support: The company is known for providing one of the best customer support service. They offer 24/7 customer support. But note that the Standard Hosting Plan does not provide Premium Support, so you would be paying extra for support & they do not offer phone technical support.

Speed: Siteground hosting speed is considerably fast. We analyzed www.laki.me which is currently hosted on Siteground. Below are the stats:

Reliability: Siteground’s reliability wise have always maintained the 99.9% mark. On every uptime calculating sites siteground has been impressively achieved 99.9% throughout.

Conclusion – Should you buy it?

Good Speed and great reliability and excellent features makes us recommend Siteground. They have no major shortcoming with their hosting.

  4. I really like siteground, because if you have a problem you can just open the chatbox. They really take your time to work out the problems. My native language isn’t english, so sometimes it’s hard for me to understand everything what I should do to make something work. But they are always calm and have their patience with you. I like that

  5. Today I discovered that a website I am working on was still version 2.5.4 and when clicking upgrade I got error plus message that that site was up-to-date. I manually upgraded to version 2.5.9 but still got the error. I escalated it to SiteGround support and within half an hour they backedup my site and debugged all extensions and made the fix.

  7. I have been super pumped since I moved to SiteGround. It was good getting started with them because they have that app that installs wordpress and joomla with one click. I haven’t had much trouble except my bill was tough to pay at one point because my credit card wouldn’t go through. Overall they do a good jobs keeping me happy and my website up.

  17. Both Live Chat and Ticket support have been great. I’ve been using Siteground for many clients for years now. Today’s problem was handled within five minutes with a precise and correct resolution. The Live chat person realized within a minute that he had to forward the issue to Tech Support and they responded in minutes. They provided me with two workarounds even though the problem was not with them, but rather our IT people messing up a sub-domain. The Live Chat person immediately jumped to the correct root of the problem and didn’t ask the usual lame questions you usually get from chat support. He wasn’t going off a rote scripte of questions to ask first, he responded to my precise situation which I gave him. Nice!

  18. Have had a lot of experience with a LOT of different hosting providers. Overall, none have pleased me more than siteground. The services are reliable, but most importantly the customer service is VERY quick and capable. Would recommend to all. Forget GODADDY, go with SITEGROUND.
